Dream Series

A collection of mixed media works from a  project exploring dreams. Each depiction is made from a dream recorded by either me or a collaborator. The line work is done in fineliner, next to its relevant entry in my dream journal. I felt this rougher and more characterised form helped portray the often distorted view we have remembering our dreams. It was then scanned and digitally coloured. This was so I was able to encorporate vibrant colours and rough or faded edges: another representation of our often patchy recollection of our dreams. 

This body of work would then go on to form a dream depiction portfolio, enabling me the opportunity to create works in collaboration with a psychology professor for use in a book she was publishing. You can find this on my comissions page.
